Job Description

Job Title:                        Sales Administrator

Purpose of the Job:

Providing an efficient sales support service to the internal and external sales teams and the wider business. Processing customer quotations and converting to orders.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Providing first line customer support – responding to customer sales queries by phone and email.

  • Seeking clarification of customer needs – application, specification and timescale.

  • Logging sales enquiries into the sales system.

  • Collecting and assessing information including costing proposals.

  • Preparation and issuing technical specifications, proposals and quotations.

  • Improving quote to purchase order conversion rate by following up issued quotations.

  • Entering data accurately into the system.

  • General administration duties as required.

     

    The position is office based
